Ok, so you have done the work, you have done the deep healing, what next?

Hello and welcome. This is Radiance the Podcast, and my name is Irene. I am your host. Today, I wanted to explore the theme of what lies on the other side of the rabbit hole in the spiritual path. This topic was inspired by a recent conversation I had with a dear friend and colleague.

We crossed paths while I was walking my dog in the park. She is an amazing spiritual practitioner, a fellow doula, and has been on the spiritual path for decades. Our spontaneous catch-up was filled with fun, joy, and inspiration. We both left feeling nourished and uplifted, our vessels overflowing with love and joy.

During our conversation, she shared something profound that stuck with me. She expressed feeling complete after doing extensive inner work, including plant medicine, ceremonies, psychotherapy, and yoga. She simply wanted to enjoy life, indulge in simple pleasures like eating chocolate chip cookies and watching movies with her children.

Her perspective resonated with me deeply. It made me reflect on how many individuals in spiritual communities often get stuck in the victim identity, clinging to past traumas and challenges. While it's important to confront our shadows and undergo spiritual initiation, there comes a point where we must let go of the victim narrative and embrace our wholeness.

My teacher often says that in therapy, there comes a moment when you "dis the story" – meaning, you choose to no longer identify with the narrative that holds you back. This shift is crucial for a quantum leap in personal growth and empowerment.

On the other side of the rabbit hole, we find joy, ease, and the freedom to be ourselves unapologetically. We let go of people-pleasing and embrace our authentic desires. We realize that we are already whole and worthy, and there's nothing to fix or heal.

Being of service becomes our purpose, but it's not about conforming to societal expectations. Each of us has unique gifts and talents, whether it's cooking, leading, knitting, or nurturing. The key is to share these gifts authentically and without seeking external validation.

Embracing our authenticity and sharing our gifts with the world brings profound fulfillment and joy. While we may still experience a range of emotions, including sadness and anger, we learn to navigate them with grace and acceptance, knowing that they are part of the human experience.

If you're seeking support and community on your journey of growth and expansion, I invite you to explore my upcoming group mentorship program. It's designed to help you tap into your authentic self and create positive impact in your community while having fun and connecting with like-minded souls.

Remember, you're not alone on this journey. We're here to support each other and uplift one another as we embrace our true selves and share our gifts with the world.

Thank you for tuning in. I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights, so please feel free to leave comments or questions. Sending you many blessings on your journey. Ciao for now.
